Real Estate Lawyer - Senior Associate – 5+ PQE
Think Legal are working alongside a well-regarded national law firm who are looking to bring an ambitious and talented senior associate real estate solicitor into their team in Leeds.
What’s the day-to-day?
Focus on real estate transactions, particularly development work (e.g., building development agreements). Collaborate with teams like construction, tax, and planning to deliver on complex matters. Flexible caseload depending on transaction type – from large multimatter deals to more focused projects. What’s the opportunity?
High-quality work acting for national housebuilders, logistics clients (e.g., distribution warehouses), and student accommodation developers. Chance to supervise junior team members and develop leadership skills. Office locations: Leeds (preferred), Sheffield, or Manchester – hybrid working (3 days in-office, typically Tues-Thurs but open for discussion). The firm is known for having a good blend of strong clients, good quality work but within a friendly and non-stuffy environment. The Candidate:
What are the firm looking for? At least 5+ years’ PQE in real estate. Strong experience managing real estate transactions, including development projects. Ability to oversee multiple aspects of complex transactions (project management skills ideal). Experience mentoring and supervising junior colleagues. Solid academic background.
