BCL Legal is working with a Top 200 UK law firm based in Essex to recruit a Senior Associate for their Commercial Property team. This is an exciting opportunity for a real estate solicitor with over 5 years' PQE to further their career at a well-recognised practice.
About the Role: The firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to manage high-quality and complex transactions.
The role involves a broad range of commercial property matters, including multi-million-pound developments, regeneration projects, and acting for high-profile investors in acquisitions and portfolio management. The team also works with international clients, house builders, and handles secured lending and restructuring work for banks.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on acquisitions, disposals, leases, and developments. Independently manage large-scale, complex transactions. Provide strategic legal advice in line with clients' business objectives. Draft and negotiate key legal documents, including contracts and development agreements. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Mentor and supervise junior solicitors and support staff. Contribute to business development and expand the department's client base.
Candidate Profile:
A qualified solicitor (England and Wales) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial property law. Proven ability to manage complex transactions independently. A commercially savvy individual with strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Proactive in business development and contributing to the firm's growth.
