We are looking for a full-time real estate accountant to join our expanding team! You'll be responsible for keeping our financial records organized, including tracking accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that each account is reconciled correctly. Responsibilities

Review accounts payable and receivable every day to make sure invoices and expense reports are accurate Utilize computer software to enter financial data and keep our records organized Follow up with vendors for accounts payable and keep in touch as needed for collections and ensure bills are paid on time Assist the real estate team or other staff accountants with other accounting duties as needed Prepare detailed reconciliations for each account to ensure every transaction is accounted for Qualifications

Accounting experience is required. Strong abilities in communication, both in writing and by phone A background in accounting or finance is valuable, but not required Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software, such as Quickbooks High school diploma required; a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is highly valued Proficient in property management software, such as Yardi Compensation
