Step Teachers are working with a primary school in Enfield to find a dedicated Reception Class Teacher. This school has a vibrant and welcoming environment where pupils thrive, feel safe and supported by kind peers and attentive adults. This is a long-term teaching role to start in January 2025.

Reception Class Teacher – Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum at Reception level.
  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor their academic growth.
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively.

Reception Class Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • Mainstream school-based experience as a Reception Class Teacher.
