Based in Hemel Hempstead, our client is looking to hire a Reconciliations Analyst on a permanent basis, with fantastic hybrid options of 1 day a week in the office. The Reconciliations Analyst will manage customer accounts, reconcile payments, and support credit control operations. You'll ensure financial accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain effective customer relationships. This job would suit someone with previous reconciliations experience who has a good understanding of accounting reconciliation techniques and Advanced Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables, along with a love for data and spreadsheets. The successful individual will have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines within a busy, fast-paced environment. They will have excellent accuracy and attention to detail and have experience in analysing and controlling large volumes of data. Key Responsibilities Reconcile payments and remittances, ensuring timely and accurate transaction matching. Manage final account reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and allocate incoming cash. Monitor credit limits, flag risks, and report credit concerns. Maintain customer relationships, manage collections, and pursue overdue payments. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to resolve disputes and negotiate payment plans. Support the Credit Control team with queries, final accounts, and discrepancy investigations. Conduct credit checks, manage credit insurance limits, and mitigate credit risks.
