Recovery Practitioner
for a Non-profitable Charity in Oxfordshire.
As a
Recovery Practitioner , you will play a crucial role by supporting young individuals suffering from Drug & Alcohol addiction or their families with Substance Misuse addictions. The ideal candidate needs to be experienced within the field, highly driven, and capable of identifying positivity within a service user while developing their potential.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of Children & Young People across Oxfordshire. You will engage with young people within schools, family centres, and colleges. You will work closely with a range of partner agencies to support young people in achieving positive changes while providing opportunities to improve their life chances for a brighter future.
Key role and responsibilities for a
Recovery Practitioner :
Build relationships with Young People aged between 8-25 years old. Provide young people and families with advice, information, and help to access practical support. Carry a caseload of Young people and Young adults. Conduct assessments, care planning, and brief and comprehensive interventions. Engage with young people and their families in various settings such as schools, colleges, and local community venues.
Minimum requirements for a
Recovery Practitioner :
Experience of working within the Substance Misuse field. Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Experience of community engagement. Experience of delivering group work.
