This role is expected to fulfil expectations as Theatre Scrub/ODP Practitioner/recovery in Theatres. Work as a skilled member of the theatres team, providing knowledgeable assistance to operating surgeons and surgical teams during the full intraoperative pathway. Deliver high-quality patient care and manage patients during procedures performed under general, regional, and local anaesthetic. Develop skills and speciality-based knowledge to support surgical practice in Theatres following a rotation plan. Provide a high standard of compassionate patient-centred care. Lead and supervise the work of other qualified and unqualified staff within the team. Communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team. Take charge of the given shift for a surgical operating list and a group of patients in the absence of senior nursing staff, as deemed appropriate by the Person-in-charge or Clinical Matron. About us
