Job Description The Recruitment Agency Business Manager is responsible for growing sales through the uptake of recruitment services provided by Henry Schein. The primary responsibility of this role is the successful running of the recruitment department, working closely with the team of recruiters to drive the success of the dental recruitment business in the UK & Ireland. This role includes full sales and team responsibility, with an additional focus on fostering collaborative relationships with practice group owners and Dental Service Organisations (DSOs). The customer base consists of clients, known as dental practice (single, group, or DSO) owners, as well as candidates looking for positions in those practices or groups. The role has direct responsibility for the management, oversight, and delivery of 360 recruitment geographically covering the whole of the UK & Ireland. The Recruitment Agency Business Manager is responsible for establishing and continually improving all recruiting processes, developing productive relationships with internal colleagues, and supporting them with any client, candidate, or process queries while assisting in building best-in-class service. This role’s key contacts are members of the Dental Recruitment team, dental practice and Multi-Practice Group owners, and Dental Service Organisations (DSOs) looking for candidates, as well as a pool of candidates registered with the company. Extended responsibility includes building awareness of market dynamics, developing relationships with colleagues within the One Schein (broader Henry Schein) environment, and building relationships with any other team members with responsibility for strategy and operational direction. Dental Recruitment is an integral service within the portfolio of available Henry Schein products and services, key part of One Schein. The Recruitment Agency Business Manager will play a supportive role in fostering One Schein culture, driving initiatives, and collaborating across business units to achieve company goals. The Recruitment Agency Business Manager will be a seasoned recruitment professional, with a deep understanding of client and candidate motivations and a successful track record from, preferably, the healthcare industry. A sound practical understanding of commercials around dental recruitment is essential, along with a very strong desire to drive the business forward and win sales. Job Responsibilities: The role holder will be responsible for the following: Full sales responsibility for the Recruitment business Lead, manage, and support a team of recruitment consultants Establish great relationships with group and DSO clients, winning business and continuing to build a sound understanding of how best to collaborate Engage with key clients and ensure you are the point of contact for issues that have escalated Establish goals, targets, and KPIs to meet departmental growth objectives and manage to those key benchmarks Build relationships with business partners, clients, publications, and organisations for future growth plans and collaboration Engage with other Heads of department and key One Schein contacts to encourage cross-departmental collaboration and aligned approaches to our customers, facilitating future growth Undertake tasks as required by the organisation but not explicitly covered in this job description Job Skills & Experience Required: To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following: Ability to operate confidently and competently at a business-to-business level, engaging and forming partnerships with dental practice owners and senior managers of multi-million-pound Multi-Practice Groups and Corporates. High degree of commercial acumen, with expert recruitment skills, preferably in the healthcare sector. Sound understanding of key market drivers and what is important to recruitment customers Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). A customer-centric, collaborative, consultative, and commercially astute approach to growing a customer base and building strong and long-term relationships with a win-win mindset. Experience of team and department building, coordinating workload effectively. Able to develop and communicate business strategies and ideas clearly and confidently. Ability to coordinate complex, matrixed action plans and motivate TSMs in and out of the direct reporting line, across the One Schein Business Units Comfortable with setting and managing projects to clearly defined KPIs Experience in the Healthcare industry is desirable but not essential.
