Recruitment and Retention Coordinator

at our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia or Moncton New Brunswick location. The successful candidate will use dynamic problem-solving, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude to support our Recruitment and Retention strategies throughout our business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the recruiting process for various employment groups including: Advertising Conducting pre-screening calls and on-site/virtual interviews Background/qualification verification Coordinating pre-employment testing Plan and attend recruitment open houses (within COVID-19 restrictions) Conduct employee exit interviews Develop and implement internal programs related to employee career development, retention, and engagement Participate and coordinate employee engagement and retention activities Participate and attend industry networking events as required Assist with the completion of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports Assist with the coordination of new-hire onboarding and training Provide administrative support within the Human Resources department Assist in special projects Other duties as required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years within a similar role or applicable post-secondary education considered an asset Able to work effectively with minimal supervision Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - verbal and written Analytical and problem-solving skills are required Experience with Microsoft Office suite About Armour Transportations Systems Armour Transportation Systems is an award-winning, world-class transportation and logistics company.
