E xcellence. About the Role Whitehaven Coal has an exciting new opportunity for a skilled Recruitment Business Partner to join our Workforce Resourcing and Recruitment team! This role is a 12-month max term opportunity. We are open to location for this role - Newcastle, Brisbane, Blackwater or Gunnedah. What You’ll Do You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end recruitment activities across a portfolio of professional, technical and blue-collar positions. We require a dedicated Recruitment Business Partner to support ongoing recruitment for our largest two mining operations in NSW & QLD. You will love dealing with a variety of stakeholders across various levels of the organisation and will bring a flexible can-do attitude. Being able to juggle multiple competing priorities will ensure success in this role. Some travel will be required. What You’ll Bring To be successful in the role you will: Be a proactive recruiter who enjoys the challenge of sourcing candidates and building talent pools in a difficult market. Have previous experience recruiting in the resource, engineering or heavy industry sectors (highly desirable). Possess solid interviewing skills and the ability to coach hiring managers. Be well-versed in sourcing tools such as LinkedIn and able to develop compelling sourcing strategies. Be a confident communicator who can use market data and trends to help inform & influence stakeholders in the recruitment process. Be resilient & adaptable in an ever-changing environment.
