Are you an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant looking for a new challenge and who wants to work with an agency that allows its staff to have autonomy over how they work? I am proud to be working with an established and respected Education Agency who are looking to add a Consultant to the team based in Newcastle. Managing a warm desk - currently 150 plus days - looking to split

Reduced hours during school holidays – term time hours will be 07.00am start

Great recruiters understand the importance of relationships, and my client takes time to understand the individual needs of each school and the teaching staff they require. For you to be successful, having the ability to communicate and listen is key.

Key responsibilities:

Maintain and develop relationships with candidates and clients based on trust, knowledge and openness

Source and interview potential candidates including qualified teachers and support staff using great questioning skills both in person and via Teams

Carry out business development calls to inform schools of available candidates and identify same day bookings or upcoming more longer-term positions

Manage the recruitment process from start to finish

Meet schools face to face by carrying out school visits and review service levels

What we need from you:

Full driving licence and access to a car to carry out school visits

Proven evidence of billings

Experience working as a recruitment consultant, ideally in education

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven experience working on a minimum £5k desk
