This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a long established and rapidly growing energy recruitment business, which is part of a wider group, based in Aberdeen, Scotland. Leading a team of talented recruitment professionals, you will have the experience and leadership qualities to offer support, guidance and management to the team. Experience of recruiting in a fast paced contracting market would be advantageous, but not essential. Knowledge of the Energy industry and engineering operations would also assist in your ability to excel in this position. You shall also have commercial experience of setting targets, working to budgets as well as a proactive approach to relationship management with our clients and the wider community. Role Summary In your role as a Recruitment Manager, you are responsible for the operational excellence and growth of the business. Key Duties & Responsibilities Ensure each team member carries out their duties and responsibilities in line with their job descriptions and objectives and targets. Allocate team resources appropriately, in line with market demand. Manage the recruitment selection process for vital, senior and sensitive roles for key clients. Conduct comprehensive monthly 1-2-1's with your team on a regular basis, following up and supporting with any identified areas of training and development. Conduct annual personal development appraisals, guiding and feeding back on performance and setting the scene and objectives for the following year. Identify, understand and support the implementation of both operational efficiencies, improvements and cost savings. Lead by example demonstrating excellent communication with clients whilst assisting with recruitment activities as and when required. Ensure annual leave and on-call of team members is managed appropriately. Continuously develop your knowledge of the Energy industry and the needs for your client base. Identify and pursue business development opportunities with new and existing clients. Actively lead rate negotiations with client base, ensuring full understanding from all parties prior to sign off. Successfully support the onboarding of new clients, allocating to a team member for account management. Provide new and existing client base with relevant terms and conditions, negotiating the best possible terms for the business. Ensure client base is aware of any rate changes imposed by new government regulations in anticipation of implementations taking place. Guide both client and candidates through all strenuous scenarios, ensuring positive working relationships are maintained. Support directors with budget planning, reviewed on a monthly and yearly basis. Ensure the business exceeds revenue and profit targets for the year. Work in accordance with QMS requirements and actively promote continuous improvement. Skills, Abilities & Knowledge Ability to lead by example, demonstrating high standards and recruitment practices. Ability to work to tight deadlines, quick turnarounds, and work on own initiative to prioritise workload. Excellent work ethic with a determination to service clients to the utmost of your ability. Highly motivated to exceed targets and objectives. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Computer literate with experience using the Microsoft Office suite and Recruitment CRM systems.
