Destination Education is an established Teaching Agency placing Teachers and Support Staff in schools and colleges across London and the Home Counties. Due to expansion across our secondary division, we have an immediate full-time vacancy for a Candidate Resourcer/Consultant to work from our City of London office.

The position will be working alongside two of the directors on an already established and successful secondary desk. We are either considering a candidate resourcer that can train and develop into a recruitment consultant or a consultant that already has experience, looking for that next step up in their career.

Role of a Recruitment Resourcer/Consultant: Sourcing candidates from online job boards, advert placement, job fairs, referrals and other sources. Arranging meetings with candidates to attend a face-to-face or online registration, carrying out a screening interview using a set out criteria. Liaising with existing schools to understand their daily and long-term supply needs, visiting clients, contacting prospective new schools. Managing all aspects of the database associated with booking teachers, updating information on schools and teachers. Assisting with any daily and long-term bookings/placements within the secondary team.

Ideal Recruitment Resourcer/Consultant: Ability to recruit and service candidates. Ambitious, tenacious, resilient and confident with strong negotiation skills. Ability to portray a persistent, persuasive and positive attitude. Strong interpersonal skills with effective listening and enquiry abilities, both in-person and via telephone. Able to cope with pressure and meet targets. A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative.

Salary: £25,000-£35,000 + bonus (dependent on experience/targets hit).
