The Role:
We are looking for a person with mobile heavy plant capability to support our overall operation at Derwent Way Recycling/Transfer Station. The role will include sortation of incoming materials, operation of heavy mobile plant including tracked 360 excavator and wheeled load-all, maintaining the general appearance of the Site and any other tasks set by Line Management.
You will have the ability to understand instructions and carry them out and have or be prepared to develop a general understanding of health and safety. Holding appropriate certification for the operation of heavy mobile plant is required. This role will be customer facing, so good communication skills are essential.
