To work with children aged 3 months to 4 years. Candidates must have a caring nature, and you will be helping to provide a safe, secure, nurturing environment for children. You will be expected to engage children in play and learning experiences by contributing to and implementing age-appropriate activities. During your training, you will be supervised by a mentor who will guide you in all areas of child development and the EYFS. You will need excellent communication skills to enable you to work as part of a team in promoting communication and language development, and liaising with other members of staff and parents. You will also be expected to help maintain a safe, clean environment. Daily duties will include: Working within a team of Nursery Practitioners. Caring for and engaging with the children. Participating in activities that promote children’s learning and development. Comforting children when necessary. Completing child observations and planning for their next steps. Helping to maintain a clean environment.
