An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer to join our busy team. The role will primarily be maintaining and repairing various types of HVAC Refrigeration within the commercial & retail sector but you should be comfortable working in a range of different environments. We will consider someone with experience in the industry and looking for an improver position (hence the salary range).

The Role
To carry out planned preventative maintenance and minor fault-finding on Air Conditioning, ventilation systems and a range of refrigeration units, predominantly commercial display fridges and ice machines. Completion of relevant service documentation and reports via PDA. Ensuring activities meet with our Company's requirements for quality, health and safety, environmental policies and general duty of care. This role would suit someone with a solid background in both air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Due to the nature of the business, working hours vary each day, minimum 45 hours per week (door to door). Late or weekend work may sometimes be required, as may working away from your usual working location. The candidate needs to be flexible as early morning starts are often necessary.
Full Manual Driving Licence:
Essential
Qualifications NVQ 1 & 2 or equivalent - Desirable 2079 Safe Handling qualification - Desirable CSCS cardholder - Desirable Hydrocarbons Qualification - Desirable Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at grade C or above - Desirable Job Type:
