Exciting Opportunity in Refrigeration Engineering We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join our dynamic team in a pivotal role, focusing on planned and reactive maintenance across diverse locations. Key Responsibilities: As a vital team member, you will take the lead in service and maintenance operations across your designated sites. Your primary duties include: Prioritizing maintenance and repair tasks to meet established timescales and response requirements. Swiftly identifying non-repairable faults, providing detailed findings to the management team, and suggesting suitable replacements. Ensuring timely completion of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules, with accurate and thorough documentation. Maintaining up-to-date technical and compliance paperwork at all times. Participating in an out-of-hours standby rota, coordinating cover during holidays or unforeseen circumstances. Responding promptly to service call requests, assessing job requirements, and conducting repairs as needed. Conducting surveys and completing reports as directed by the refrigeration supervisor/RFM. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards in an efficient, cost-effective manner while complying with company Health and Safety policies. Qualifications and Skills: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications, skills, and abilities: NVQ/C&G Refrigeration Based Qualification. Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate. Ability to read drawings and diagnose equipment issues. Strong equipment diagnostic and repair skills. Possession of a current full driving license is essential. Availability for out-of-hours working and participation in standby rota.
