Proactively execute assigned engineering tasks, including maintenance and service visits at food factories, RDCs, and warehouses, working on a variety of equipment such as Recip, Scroll, and Screw compressor packs, including Ammonia, CO2, and HFC/HFO installations. Perform service tasks and respond to breakdowns during regular working hours while also providing support for out-of-hours operations as part of an on-call standby rota. Collaborate with internal teams and client support functions to meet the goals and expectations of both customers and the business. Ensure all engineering tasks are completed with a strong focus on commercial awareness and adherence to business systems and compliance requirements. Maintain responsibility for the quality and execution of each engineering task, ensuring all contract requirements and best practices are consistently followed. Adhere to all industry best practices and legislative guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations at all times. Technical Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of the industrial refrigeration engineering sector and a deep understanding of customer expectations in this field. Demonstrated technical proficiency and relevant certifications, such as 2079 Refrigerant Handling, ACRIB, and Ammonia-related qualifications. Successfully completed a recognized apprenticeship or training program in industrial refrigeration. Solid foundation in maintenance and service tasks for medium to large industrial refrigeration systems. Proven experience in technical diagnosis and fault-finding for large central plant installations, including expertise with refrigeration compressors such as Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom, and others.
