Regional Construction Manager

Regional Construction Manager We are exclusively working with a prestigious construction client in the South West. The client is opening up four more sites in the region. The majority of the work will be between Plymouth and Exeter, covering Dartmouth down to Cornwall. Ideally, a civils background would be useful for this role. Responsibilities Overseeing and managing Project Managers, Assistant/Trainee Managers, Site Supervisors, Administrators, and associated direct trade and sub-contractor operatives. Ability to understand design and construction drawings and implement them. Overseeing and managing specialist domestic and nominated sub-contractors. Enforcing and monitoring Health & Safety practices. Pricing and attending on-site meetings with estimators and all client specifications. Formulating valuations and final accounts. Assisting with the preparation of tenders. Monitoring that all specific materials ordered are received on time and in full. Attendance at regular report and update meetings with the Directors. Overseeing and authorizing time sheets on a weekly basis. Qualifications We are looking for a time-served individual who has experience working across multiple construction disciplines. We need someone who is used to managing large complex projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently across a region.
