The Business Unit finance business partner will lead the support to a key region of the business unit, providing financial insight to its leaders. This role is responsible for performing the day-to-day planning and performance management processes as well as identifying and supporting strategic plans to leverage opportunities. In addition, this person would help identify and develop scalable reporting solutions and process improvements to increase the efficiency of the organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Provide key financial support to regional leaders by performing variance, including monthly results and forecasts/budgets. Partner with the business to understand internal and external factors impacting orders, sales, and margins and implement opportunities to grow business performance. Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes, including profit planning, sales and direct margin forecasts, expense budgets, working capital and cash flow estimates and sensitivity analysis. Support the enhancement of processes and development of key financial and operational metrics/dashboards/reports to improve efficiency and analytical capabilities. Prepare and analyze financial trends impacting the business, including external competitors and market. The essential requirements of the job include: 6-10 years of progressive experience with at least one similar role. A combination of progressive accounting and FP&A roles is preferred. Experience partnering with business leaders to build sales and order forecasts/budgets. Understanding of P&L, Balance Sheets and Cash Flows. Highly analytical and intellectually curious, with an ability to understand how things work. Emotionally intelligent with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience and ability to use technology effectively and efficiently, including ERPs, Consolidation Tools, Excel. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
