The Regional Sales Manager is a newly created position at Focus Group in which you will be heavily involved in the direct management and development of an established BDM function. You’ll be responsible for developing working efficiencies, productivity as well as maximising opportunities and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for helping the team to identify and generate new prospects and convert them into key accounts.
Ensure the team's existing customers are fully supported and they are proactively searching for whitespace/cross-sell opportunities.
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing and nurturing the sales team.
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and accurate forecasts from PowerBI to the management team.
Ensure the team's diaries are managed correctly and assist in overall time management.
Report progress and/or concerns regarding the team to Head of Sales.
Ensure that behaviours are in line with our values and address any concerns.
Conduct regular 1-2-1’s with the team alongside Head of Sales where necessary.
Deliver sales-led support to the team when called upon.
Provide the team with client escalation support.
Manage objective setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives, including all areas of personal development around their sales ability.
Develop the team to be able to manage customers and prospects to their full potential ensuring other departments are introduced to increase cross-sell.
Help to develop and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue opportunities.
Responsible for all team members' performance against their KPIs.
Skills and Experience:
A proven track record in building and growing high performing teams in high-end technology sales environments.
Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Strong business sense and industry expertise.
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
Self-motivation and ambition.
A natural ability to build rapport and trust with the team.

A proven ability to coach and develop successful salespeople.
