position in EMEA. Job Purpose: As a

Regional Sourcing Manager , you will play a key role in coordinating and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize materials and services sourcing. This involves managing risks and ensuring value and resilience in alignment with business needs, strategies, industry best practices, regulatory frameworks, and current legislation. Your tasks will focus on areas like parcel sorting, conveyor technology, maintenance, and special projects in both national and international environments. Your tasks: Contribute to design and implement sourcing plans and processes to manage risk and optimize the value/resilience of materials/services sourcing in line with business needs, strategy, industry best practices, regulatory framework, and current legislation. Provide inputs for key business initiatives, supply market research/intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets, and establishment of regional frame contracts. Apply best practices in strategic sourcing of goods and services and transportation capacities to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business/function in scope. Execute research to identify strategic sourcing opportunities and develop and manage strategic suppliers. Support implementation of sourcing plans to support value contribution, benefit realization, and efficiency from all procurement activities, ensuring fulfillment of joint goals with internal business partners by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price, and service. Establish supplier relationship management processes and continuous improvement goals/programs. Negotiate contracts and coordinate supplier integration plans with internal clients. Monitor market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing. Partner with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify marketplace trends, and define acceptable service levels. Support developing and implementing long-term category strategies and manage categories with an understanding of external innovation management. Deep understanding of the regional business as well as market trends of the specific categories. Master data/AI-enabled negotiation techniques. Develop partnerships with traditional suppliers and startups. Coach others in cross-functional teamwork and promote cross-functional collaborations. Your profile: More than 5 years of experience in sourcing capital goods, with a preference for experience in parcel sorting and conveyor technology. Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, with professional experience. Native or fluent in English (written and spoken); German is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. A technical background in industrial or mechanical engineering is a plus.
