Tikkurila UK is a leading paint production and distribution business operating nationwide. We are recruiting for a pivotal new Regional Store Manager role to cover the Midlands Area (East & West). This individual will be responsible for overseeing the performance and operations of multiple store locations within our network. The Regional Store Manager will ensure all locations meet high standards of service, operational efficiency, and profitability. The role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and strong technical knowledge in the paint sector. Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of four concession locations across the Midlands. Customer Service:

Ensure quick, efficient, and high-quality customer service is consistently provided across all locations. Resolve customer issues to a satisfactory outcome and build strong customer relationships. Engage in proactive customer outreach and ensure exceptional customer service standards are met. Operational Management:

Oversee local deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service. Maintain cleanliness and safety in all stores, including the proper maintenance of tinting machines and other equipment. Manage stock levels, customer accounts, and financial transactions, including daily till counts and cash drops. Coordination & Communication:

Act as the first point of contact for all retail managers and staff regarding operational issues, holiday management, and team absences. Coordinate staff schedules and team allocation to ensure optimal coverage and productivity across all locations. Liaise with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure company policies and procedures are followed. Provide leadership and support to retail managers and staff at each location. Conduct performance reviews, manage disciplinary actions, and provide training for new employees. Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in retail management (assistant or supervisory level suitable), preferably in the paint sector. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Proficiency in using computer systems and handling financial transactions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Highly organised, with strong problem-solving abilities and a 'can-do' attitude. Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. A valid driving licence is essential for travel between store locations. The role is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Please note: This role covers a broad array of stores across both East and West Midlands, and therefore place of work will rotate between these locations as required.
