A new Regional Support Manager / Peripatetic Manager has opened up in the East Anglia area. The role will involve providing support across several homes in the Norfolk and Suffolk area. We are keen to find a manager with excellent communication skills, a wealth of knowledge of the care sector and proven managerial experience to join a team that puts people first.

Purpose of the Role

The main responsibilities of the Regional Support Manager / Peripatetic Manager concerns providing top support and leadership across care homes in the East Anglia region. You will be in charge of supervising and managing other homes, ensuring that they are delivering the highest quality care, their values are in alignment and uniform with the other care homes under your supervision. The role also includes quality assurance and maintaining standards in accordance with regulatory requirements. You will display inspiring leadership qualities with a deep understanding of the care home sector with the ability to foster a positive work culture.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Manage the financial performance and be able to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to achieve financial targets. Ensure quality assurance and compliance with CQC whilst managing potential risks. Monitor and evaluate care delivery processes and outcomes, and implement improvements as needed. Ensure that the care home provides a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents. Maintain and develop relationships with staff, stakeholders, the residents and their families. Implement performance monitoring and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes.

Skills and Experience

Nurse qualification - preferred Nursing home managers looking for career advancement considered Proven management and leadership skills Brilliant communicator with experience dealing with stakeholders Deep understanding and knowledge of CQC regulation Ability to manage budgets and work with financial constraints Experienced at building relationships whilst also fostering teamwork and motivating the team Previous experience with deadlines, multi-tasking and working under pressure.
