Regional Technical Sales Manager (Passive Fire Protection (Firestopping) Products) .
The Company is based in the North West; however, they are looking for a Regional Technical Sales Manager to cover Midlands, Lancashire, Merseyside, Yorkshire, and Wales.
The Regional Technical Sales Manager role will be hybrid working.
Description:
Field sales position, selling a high-end range of manufactured passive fire protection / fire resistant products. Majority of the time will be spent generating specification and selling directly to main contractors, installers, architects, and sub-contractors. The role will also focus on safeguarding the specification, tracking and pricing projects, and developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients at all levels. Will be required to travel extensively for site visits. Will be targeting the residential and commercial sectors. Identify new market opportunities and feedback market intelligence to the business.
Ideal applicant:
Must have experience in selling fire stopping products to the construction industry. Must have experience targeting dry lining contractors, specialist building envelope contractors, architects, main contractors, or sub-contractors. Ideally selling fire protection / fire resistant products / materials such as batts, fire resistant cavity barriers, fire collars, and sealants. Ideally have CPD experience. Ideally have in-depth knowledge of facades, fixings, insulation, curtain walling systems, insulation, or cladding products. An individual with the ability to develop technical knowledge of products quickly. Should have a solution-based sales approach, positive, professional, and customer service oriented. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
