This role covers from Rugby all the way down to the South Coast - so you must be very comfortable with travel.

Flexible hours - 40 per week (the role does include some nights away).

Salary: £28k-£30k basic plus bonus (OTE £40k+).

Our client, a market leader in their sector, specializes in automotive equipment, and is looking for a Regional Technical Salesperson / Demonstrator to sell their products in the South. This role will include lots of travel, and a few nights away per week, especially in the first 6 months. You must be very comfortable with this to apply for this position. This will also include demonstrating technical products to potential customers, so you must have great hand-eye coordination. The successful candidate may be someone who has a background in mechanics or engineering.

Responsibilities:

Developing the market from Rugby all the way down to the South Coast, going door-to-door to garages, demonstrating products. Executing installations of equipment and start-up trainings for customers. Making regular visits with assigned customers, maintaining close relations and long-term partnerships. Driving orders, deliveries, and installations, keeping in contact with internal salespersons and office staff. The first 6 months of the role will be training - you will be visiting various areas with current salespeople and installers, learning the business. There will also be regular visits to the Rugby office. Admin of sales including invoicing in the CRM system.

Necessary Skills and Capabilities:

Personal situation allows extensive travelling and regular nights away from home. Technical knowledge of car manufacturing requirements on some level and good hand-eye coordination to be able to demonstrate products. Previous experience communicating with customers - in this role you will be speaking to people of all levels, office-based or mechanics in a garage, so you must be comfortable with this. Previous experience in sales, ideally of technical equipment, or in the automotive parts/equipment sector or Bodyshop. Very presentable, professional, and confident. Proactive, motivated, eager to work and earn - there is massive earning potential in this role for the right candidate. Happy to get your hands dirty working with equipment! Customer-focused and will deliver on promises. Good IT skills. Full UK driving licence B (BE is a plus).
