Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working
Location: Regional - Cover the south east of England
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of Transport procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders and tracking transportation vehicles.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
Overseeing 3 sites within the South East of England which will include working away from home To directly assist Management by coordinating and generating the shipping requirements for distribution routes, from warehouse to end-user, maintaining precise and up-to-date reports Maintaining and developing the contract through innovation, cost reduction and forward thinking Ensure management of drivers, to legal standard to achieve planned deliveries Communication with customer, regular reviews, KPI production Maintain service schedule and control standards and repair costs Health & Safety responsibility for the operation WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
