Job Overview Strong Life Care are a local and national award winning Care Home provider and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Care Home, the Beeches, in Doncaster. The Beeches is an intimate 32 bed Residential / Dementia Home with a fantastic team of dedicated people. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional care to our residents. This role is crucial in ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care in a safe and supportive environment. The Home Manager will be responsible for managing staff, supervising care delivery, and maintaining compliance with regulations. Duties Manage the overall operations of the home, ensuring high-quality care for all residents. Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance. Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, including those requiring dementia care. Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate care services. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Provide leadership in staff training and development to enhance service delivery. Experience Previous experience in a supervisory role within a Residential Care / Dementia Care / Nursing home settings is essential. Strong background in care management with a focus on delivering high-quality services. Experience in dementia care is highly desirable. Proven ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage with residents and their families empathetically. Relevant qualifications in health or social care are advantageous.
