Registered Care Home Manager

to manage a new excellent care home based in the Flitwick, Bedfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

A care home with a welcoming and homely environment for those with a variety of needs and offering the highest levels of care within specialist residential and dementia care.

To be considered for this position, you must hold an

NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care .

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively manage your staff, providing information, guidance, and ongoing supervision and support, recruiting new staff, and continually developing and encouraging your team. Working with your Area Manager to ensure that business objectives and CQC compliance criteria are met by cultivating good working relationships with all stakeholders and actively working in a collaborative way to ensure outstanding service and care levels. Have full commercial control and work closely with the Customer Relations Team to maintain optimum occupancy in your home through creative marketing strategies while ensuring cost control over fees and staffing. Submit regular management information reporting on all aspects of the home, including occupancy levels, fees, budget controls, and staffing. Work closely with the Hospitality and Maintenance teams to ensure the best standards in the home's environment, including food presentation standards, housekeeping standards, and the care and maintenance of residents' clothing and building.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience and knowledge of working in dementia care. A proven track record of delivering high-quality care within a residential setting and financial management planning. Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading, and motivating others. Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and care inspectorate. Passionate, driven, confident, and resilient leader with excellent communication skills.

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of

GBP60,000 - GBP65,000 per annum . This exciting opportunity is a maternity cover role, available until January 2026, working through days.
