Registered Children Home Manager, Lancaster
Are you seeking a new permanent opportunity as a Registered Children Manager, where you can provide the highest quality of care and support to young people?
Do you have the experience and knowledge of working within the residential children sector, within a leadership role?
The opportunity: Working for an established provider of residential care and support to children and young people, we're seeking a skilled Registered Manager to oversee the management and leadership of a 3 bedded residential home for children and young people with EBD aged 8-18. The role: To provide support and lead a team in the provision of care and support to children and young people with EBD, and behaviours that may challenge. Staff recruitment and training to ensure all staff are compliant within the OFSTED regulations. Liaise with all relevant agencies and colleagues including Safeguarding Lead and RI. Manage budgets and ensure that all appropriate documentation is up to date in line with company policies & procedures. Conduct staff appraisals and performance management. Ensure the safety and well-being of all young people and staff within the home. Ideal Candidate: You will have experience of working in a leadership role within a similar setting as a Deputy/Registered Manager. Level 5 Leadership & Management CYP or working towards it. Professional and proactive with a desire to make a difference to young people. Sound knowledge of the OFSTED regulations and legislation. Flexible and a car driver with access to your own vehicle. Willingness to learn and develop within the role. The good bit: Competitive salary of £45,000. Permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with an element of flexibility required.
