New exciting opportunity! Registered Children Home Manager, Lancaster. Permanent with a generous remuneration package & benefits! Salary of £45,000 per annum Permanent role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with an element of flexibility required. Full training and Induction programme 28 days' annual leave Parking, and mileage scheme The opportunity: Working for an established provider of residential care and support to children and young people, we're seeking a skilled Registered Manager to oversee the management and leadership of a 3 bedded residential home for children and young people with EBD aged 8-18. The role: To provide support and lead a team in the provision of care and support to children and young people with EBD, and behaviours that may challenge. Staff recruitment and training to ensure all staff are compliant within the OFSTED regulations. Liaise with all relevant agencies and colleagues including Safeguarding Lead and RI. To have the awareness of and management of budgets and ensure that all appropriate documentation is up to date in line with company policies & procedures. Staff appraisals and performance management. Ensure the safety and well-being of all young people and staff within the home. Ideal Candidate: You will have experience of working in a leadership role within a similar setting as a Deputy/Registered Manager. Level 5 Leadership & Management CYP or working towards this. Professional and proactive with a desire to want to make the difference to young people. Sound knowledge of the OFSTED regulations and legislation. Flexible and car driver with access to own vehicle.
