Lead with Purpose in a Family-Run, Child-Centered Environment

Are you passionate about creating positive, lasting change for young people?

We’re looking for a dedicated Registered Manager to lead a Solo Placement EBD Home, providing children with complex needs a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive. This is a unique opportunity to transform lives, lead a dedicated team, and drive meaningful outcomes for vulnerable children in care.

About Us

"We’re a family-run organisation with 10 homes rated "Good" by Ofsted, committed to a supportive, transparent, and empowering culture for both staff and young people. As we expand, we’re seeking leaders who share our vision and dedication to achieving the best outcomes for children in residential care."

Why Join Our Team?

  • Competitive Pay & Rewards: Earn up to £50,000 annually, plus a £4,500 bonus, with further financial incentives for achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted ratings.
  • Work-Life Balance: Benefit from a hybrid working model designed to support both your professional and personal needs.
  • Professional Development: We’re invested in your growth, offering funded training, career advancement opportunities, and tailored development programs.
  • Supportive Leadership: Work closely with experienced Regional Managers who provide guidance and ensure you and your team have the tools to succeed.
  • Pension Scheme: Plan for your future with a secure company pension.

Your Role & Impact

As the Registered Manager of our Solo Placement Home, you’ll oversee the care of one young person, focusing on their safety, growth, and well-being. Leading a team of six, you’ll foster a therapeutic environment where children can find stability, heal, and develop essential life skills. This is a chance to be directly involved in shaping a young person’s future by giving them the compassion and support they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire & Lead: Build a culture of empathy, excellence, and respect, ensuring every child feels valued and understood.
  • Uphold Standards: Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations to uphold our high standards of care.
  • Develop Personalised Care Plans: Create and implement tailored care plans that focus on the unique needs and growth of each child.
  • Build & Empower Your Team: Recruit, train, and support your team to foster a collaborative, positive environment where everyone is empowered to excel.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with social workers, families, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support network for each child.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and enhance the quality of care, implementing new initiatives to improve outcomes.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Proven Leadership: Previous experience as a Registered Manager or a minimum of two years as a Deputy Manager in children’s residential care.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
  • Child-Centered Advocate: A genuine passion for improving the lives of children, with the leadership and communication skills to inspire and support your team.
  • Organised & Motivated: A proactive approach, ready to lead and make a lasting impact from day one.
  • Essential Requirement: Full Manual UK Driving Licence.
