Cpl Healthcare are delighted to be partnered with a prestigious Care provider whose mission is to ensure all their Service Users receive a capable, professional, and friendly caregiver who shares in the same family values.

They are recruiting for a Registered Children's Manager, where your role will take on the vital responsibility of leading and managing a dedicated care team to ensure high-quality support for children and young people. The children's home provides a therapeutic and safe environment for young people with complex emotional needs, helping them to thrive and develop. Your role will be key in creating a nurturing home where each child can feel valued and supported.

The role will initially cover one home, however, this will eventually be to cover a second home (6 children in total).

Key Responsibilities include: Day-to-day management: Overseeing the operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and other regulatory requirements. Team leadership: Recruiting, supervising, and mentoring staff, ensuring that the team is well-supported and motivated to provide outstanding care. Care delivery: Developing and implementing individualized care plans, ensuring that the emotional, educational, and social needs of the children are met. Safeguarding: Ensuring all safeguarding procedures are adhered to and that the home meets all health and safety standards. Collaboration: Building strong relationships with external partners, including social workers, schools, and healthcare professionals, to deliver the best outcomes for each child. Financial management: Managing budgets and resources effectively to ensure the smooth running of the home.

What They're Looking For: The ideal candidate must have extensive experience (no less than 1 year) in a Children's Residential Home setting. Extensive Ofsted experience. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare. Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding regulations. Opportunity to do some part-time consulting SC2 Ofsted application whilst working off a notice period.
