SMarter Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Registered Children's Home Manager to join a fantastic organization to help shape and guide young people.

The Registered Children's Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the care and support provided to children within a residential or care home setting. This position requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage staff, develop care plans, and ensure that all aspects of care meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care, senior care, and dementia care, with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for children in their care.

Duties

Manage and supervise the daily operations of the children's care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to each child's needs, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Lead and support a team of caregivers, providing training and guidance to ensure high-quality care delivery. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs. Foster a safe and nurturing environment for children, encouraging their development through engaging activities and support. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care services. Maintain accurate records of children's health and progress, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

Experience Proven experience in home care or similar settings is essential, with a strong understanding of leadership principles within the child sector. Familiarity with developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual needs is highly desirable. Experience working in children's homes or assisted living facilities will be advantageous. A relevant qualification in health and social care or management is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with staff, families, and external stakeholders.

£36,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
