Registered Childrens Manager

for a brand-new, 2-bed children's home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous management experience, or an experienced Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in their career. You will have the chance to make this home your own and shape the environment to deliver the highest standards of care for the children. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring the highest quality of care and safeguarding standards are met. Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated care team. Create and implement personalised care plans tailored to each child's needs. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and external professionals. Take full responsibility for the home's operational budgets, staffing, and administration. Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a managerial role within a children’s residential setting or an experienced Deputy Manager looking for progression. Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies, children’s rights, and relevant legislation. Ability to lead and inspire a team while providing excellent support and guidance. Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Relevant qualification, such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent, would be advantageous.
