Job Overview: Claire at Amber Mace is looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Domiciliary Manager to lead our care team in Cannock. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who need support in the comfort of their own homes. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of our domiciliary care service, ensuring that high-quality, person-centered care is delivered to all service users. You will manage a team of carers, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to the overall growth and development of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Oversee the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that meets individual needs and preferences. Staff Management:

Recruit, train, supervise, and support a team of carers, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional care. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing professional development. Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that the service is compliant with all relevant care standards and regulations, including CQC requirements. Maintain accurate records, conduct audits, and manage inspections. Care Planning & Delivery:

Develop and review care plans, ensuring they are person-centered and tailored to the individual's needs. Oversee care delivery and ensure service users' well-being is at the forefront of care provision. Quality Assurance:

Implement quality assurance procedures to monitor and improve the quality of care delivered. Investigate and resolve any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative and effective care delivery. Business Development:

Contribute to the growth and development of the service by identifying opportunities for expansion, improving service provision, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a managerial role within domiciliary care or a similar setting. Registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) or eligibility to register. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A good understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards in domiciliary care. Experience in care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding practices. Ability to manage and prioritize workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment. Full UK driving license and access to a car for travel purposes.

Desirable Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Experience in business development or managing service growth.
