We are pleased to be working with a community hospital based in Shropshire to support their temporary agency requirements. The role: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. You will be supporting 6 community hospitals (Oswestry, Whitchurch, Shrewsbury, Telford, Bridgnorth, Bishops Castle) who offer rehabilitation and recovery following an operation or palliative care to local patients aged 18+. We can offer you a variety of shift patterns, from long days or nights to traditional 7.5 hours on weekdays or weekends. You can work a few shifts, a few weeks, or for a number of months. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure the well-being of patients. Duties: Assess and monitor patients' health status, documenting changes and reporting to the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily activities and emotional support. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. What you'll need: 150 hours of UK NHS experience as a Registered Nurse. Hold a valid NMC PIN - Sponsorship is not available. Enhanced DBS. Occupational Health Clearance. Car driver preferred due to the rural locations of the hospitals.
