Provide comprehensive health assessments and deliver holistic care plans for young people within the Youth Justice Service. Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver pre and post-court services in partnership with statutory and non-statutory agencies. Offer therapeutic support, using your excellent skills to engage effectively with young people and address their emotional and mental health needs. Ensure all interventions are timely, evidence-based, and in line with best practice standards. Maintain thorough records and documentation, contributing to case conferences and meetings as required. Adapt your approach to work flexibly and responsively with young individuals, supporting their journey towards rehabilitation and positive change. The successful candidate will be a qualified nurse with an RN qualification in mental health, children’s or general nursing. Registration with the NMC and at least three years of post-registration experience within children and young people's services, emotional health environments (such as CAMHS), and community settings is essential.
