Registered Manager
passionate about working with individuals with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses. The successful candidate will work in our new mental health inpatient unit at Stanford Court based in Highgate, Birmingham. You will be responsible for day-to-day operational management and delivering high-quality mental health services to a highly dependent and complex group of service users with multiple complex needs. You will be responsible for clinical and administrative staff, clinical quality, and the delivery of consistently high standards. You will oversee the unit's governance through clinical audit and offer frontline clinical leadership alongside active contribution as a senior management team member. You will be pivotal in the provision of effective leadership in ensuring positive outcomes for the service and service users. You will promote recovery principles to improve quality of life and achieve maximum independence with each service user. You will offer clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary team and represent a senior professional voice within the integrated care team. You will work with service users delivering person-centered care, working with individuals towards community integration and balancing safety and therapeutic risk-taking. You must be a Registered Nurse (registered with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council) or another first-level healthcare qualification.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a genuine passion for working with people with severe and enduring mental health diagnoses and a similar passion for supporting staff to deliver exceptional and innovative services. You must be able to work core hours, predominantly 09:00-17:00, with a usual working week of Monday-Friday whilst taking part in the on-call duty management rota. In order to apply for the post of Registered Manager, you will have a minimum of 12 months of experience in a management or clinical leadership role.
