Registered Manager Salary: £55,000 pa dependent on skills and experience 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9 am 5 pm), including on-call responsibilities Holidays: 28 days annual leave Bradford based Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on individual to lead and manage a well-established nursing home. This is a full-time, on-site role offering the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents and staff. About the Role As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and maintaining the highest standards of care. This is a leadership role that requires someone who can hit the ground running, bringing strong managerial expertise and a proven track record of success in similar settings. Key Responsibilities but not limited to:- Overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the nursing home. Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and relevant legislative requirements. Providing strong and inclusive leadership to staff, fostering a positive working environment. Managing budgets effectively to ensure financial sustainability without compromising care quality. Communicating effectively with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders. Driving continuous improvement and ensuring the home operates in line with best practices. Ensure maximum client occupancy of the home is maintained by liaising with relevant discharge teams and attending assessments Skills/Experience Recent experience as a Registered Manager in a nursing home or similar environment. A thorough understanding of CQC requirements and compliance standards. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with staff, residents, and families. A self-motivated and proactive approach, with the ability to lead by example and make decisions confidently. Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth running of the home. Benefits Competitive salary of £55,000 pa. 28 days of annual leave.
