CPL Healthcare is recruiting for a Residential Care Home in Kingston, providing accommodation for up to five young males and females aged 8-17 years. We are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure the highest standards of care for the residents.
The property consists of five bedrooms, communal living spaces, and staff facilities. The home is located in a warm, welcoming community with access to local amenities.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the home operates in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Provide leadership and supervision to a skilled team of care staff. Develop and implement tailored independence programs to support young people in achieving personal, social, and life skills. Promote positive behavior using praise, recognition, and structured boundaries. Listen to and support young people in achieving their goals, dreams, and aspirations. Create a nurturing and supportive environment where every child feels valued and respected. Manage budgets, resources, and operational aspects of the home effectively. About You:
Proven experience in a leadership role within a residential care setting. Knowledge of relevant regulations and safeguarding practices. Passionate about empowering young people to reach their full potential. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. A commitment to promoting equal opportunities and diversity.
