Are you seeking a new management role to oversee and lead a children service provision in Cumbria? Working for an established leading provider of care and support services for children with complex needs in Cumbria, we are seeking a skilled Registered Children Manager to lead and oversee the short break provision. The aim of this exciting role will be to lead the children and young people's support teams in the implementation of all aspects of the short breaks service provision (Residential and Non-Residential) in line with the Ofsted regulations and individual service specifications. Duties & Responsibilities:

Operational lead and management of the short break respite service for children and young people aged 2-18. Ensuring the smooth running of the service and coordinating the activities and plans for the day. Care and Support planning. Liaise with and build effective relationships with the team, children and their families, and other stakeholders. Adhere to safeguarding issues and all internal policies and procedures, including compliance & QA. Work in line with OFSTED regulations and practices. Crisis & contract management. The ideal candidate:

You will have experience of leading and managing teams within a similar setting for children and young people. Have sound knowledge and understanding of all OFSTED legislation and practices including inspections. Hold the Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent. Be a proactive and self-motivated individual who has the ability to lead teams and be approachable, calm, organized, and patient. Have a positive and 'can-do' approach to your work, working in a person-centered way. The good bit:
