Job description This is an exciting opportunity to join a revolutionary new provider and be a core part of developing our services into the future. Having previously opened and operated Good and Outstanding children’s homes, you will be an excellent rounded registered manager, and will share our values of putting young people at the centre of all we do. Confident in working alongside Ofsted, you will be familiar with the registration and inspection process, and will routinely achieve high quality regulatory feedback. As the Registered Homes Manager you will be the key individual in upholding the companies’ vision, ethos and values. You will be a strong, visible and inspirational leader for both the children and care team. You will work in partnership with all stakeholders to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. You will have budgetary responsibility for your home and also establish robust quality assurance processes to ensure strict adherence to all relevant legislation. Key responsibilities and priority tasks: Recruitment of your staff team, including supporting their on-boarding. The management of the residential home, through strong leadership and direction of your team, ensuring regular supervision and monitoring compliance with all training requirements. Reviewing relevant referrals, assessing matching and selecting appropriate young people to be placed in the home. Liaising with Local Authorities to share appropriate information and secure placement of children in the home. Ensuring the highest quality of care, including compliance with regulatory standards and guidance. The unconditional positive regard for the young people in the home whilst setting clear boundaries and expectations, committing to the principle of ‘high warmth/ high control’ and sticking with difficult placements. Managing budgets. Developing and sustaining effective relationships with external agencies, professional bodies and stakeholders. As a successful applicant you will have: 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager, having achieved an Ofsted rating of ‘good’ and / or ‘Outstanding’. Managing Ofsted inspections to a minimum overall ‘good’ rating. In depth knowledge of Quality Standards and Children’s homes regulations. Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young people). Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Service or equivalent. Work remotely No Job Type:
