We are looking for an Experienced Registered Manager to lead and open a new Children's Home in Thornton Heath. This 5-bed EBD Home will cater to children aged 8-18. The provider is an already established name within the children's residential sector with a home already open within the borough and rated as Good in all areas with Ofsted. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with Ofsted to ensure the home's registration. We would be interested in speaking to Deputy Home Managers aspiring to be Registered Managers and experienced Registered Managers (we have included a wide range on salary within this advert in order to encompass applications from all interested parties). If you are seeking a new challenge and have experience within children's residential services, this opportunity offers the autonomy to recruit a new team, set high standards, open and take the lead on a brand new home (under the guise of an RI with over thirty years industry experience). Key Requirements: Essential : NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People or Residential Childcare Desirable : NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management Children and Young People Workforce Essential : Experience with Ofsted within the children's residential home sector Desirable : Driving license Responsibilities include managing the residential home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted legislation, training staff, developing care plans, and fostering relationships with external professionals, but above all ensuring that the children in our care are happy, healthy, and seek out positive outcomes in all that they do.
