including but not limited to: Destroying Property, Absconding, Self-harming, Poor Hygiene, Fire Fascination, and Verbal aggression. Our aims and objectives at Safe Places for Children is to provide a model of care that focuses on providing stability and a nurturing environment that supports positive outcomes for Young People. General Responsibilities Provide a caring service at all times and treat those they come into contact with in a courteous and respectful manner. Carry out duties and responsibilities assuring the safety of young people, colleagues, and the public. Build a strong and positive team culture and ensure adequate rostering/cover is in place within the home. Facilitate team meetings, case inductions, and assist in any performance issues. Lead the development of staff through Professional Development Plans and Coaching. Complete ongoing Risk Assessments and update Positive Behaviour Support Plans. Identify and review Data Trends regarding Incident Management within the Registered Service. Attend Multi-Agency Meetings with relevant authorities and stakeholders. Support the 24 Hour On-Call system on a Rota basis. Lead and deliver all care aspects within the Registered Home. Ensure compliance with Safe Places for Children and the Relevant Authorities’ Policies, Procedures, Regulations, and Standards. Review Daily Shift Reports and communicate critical information to the Relevant Authority. Support Formal Supervision sessions and undertake Annual Yearly Appraisals. Strive for an Outstanding Rating from the Registered Regulator. Ensure the highest standards of care regarding the Children’s physical, behavioral, and emotional needs. Support Young People to engage with their Routine and Programme. Publicise and promote the aims and objectives of the organisation. Evaluate the impact of all work undertaken and undertake continuous review of the Registered Home. Adhere to Safe Places for Children Equal Opportunities Policy. Achieve Outcomes (life skills, coping skills, etc.) ensuring appropriate child participation. Create a Comfortable, Nurturing, and Safe Environment. Demonstrate ability to independently use Microsoft Products. Complete relevant history checks and have a current Full UK Driver’s License. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Crisis management skills and openness to feedback. Participate in a “step up” process for short term position appointments. Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management. Essential Skills and Qualifications Essential Third Level Qualification in Social Work for Registered Manager appointed within Northern Ireland. 2 Years’ experience in working with traumatised young people. 1 Years’ experience in managing staff members within a Registered Service. Experience working with regulators such as OFSTED and RQIA. Pay and Terms and Conditions Salary:

£45,448.00 per year Hours:

Full-time (38 Hours per week) – flexible working hours required. Holidays:

33 days per year including Bank Holidays Probation:

Six months, extendable if appropriate. Records Management:
