We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our clients' small residential elderly homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care home management and elderly care, with a passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care to the residents. The home is well regarded in the local community and is rated 'Good' by CQC.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards. Lead and support a team of care staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each resident, ensuring their well-being and comfort. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain high standards of care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including care plans, risk assessments, and medication management. Liaise with residents' families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of care. Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure efficient and effective operation of the home. Ensure the home provides a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Stay informed about industry developments and best practices to continually improve the quality of care provided.

Skills and Qualifications:

Registered Manager qualification (Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent). Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential care home setting. In-depth knowledge of elderly care, including dementia care and end-of-life care. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. A thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and standards in the care home sector. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing the highest standard of care.
