We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Care Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of domiciliary and home care services, ensuring high-quality care for individuals and their families. This position is focused on delivering exceptional respite services for informal family carers while also maintaining compliance with CQC standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the delivery of domiciliary care services, ensuring all clients receive high-quality care in line with CQC standards. Oversee care and support packages from referral through to assessment, support planning, and ongoing reviews. Supervise, train, and support care staff to ensure they meet required performance and service standards. Ensure the safety of clients and staff, adhering to safeguarding, health and safety, and care standards regulations. Lead recruitment efforts, conduct supervisions, appraisals, and performance reviews for care staff. Handle complaints, incidents, and regulatory notifications to maintain compliance with policies and procedures. Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders and attend meetings to support service growth and quality. Participate in the on-call function alongside care coordinators.

Qualifications & Experience:

NVQ Level 4 or QCF Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification in Health and Social Care. Experience in managing domiciliary care services and working with individuals with complex needs. Proven track record of managing a service rated as Good or Excellent by CQC. Experience supervising and supporting care staff, with a strong understanding of the Care Certificate. Knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and quality assurance processes.

Skills & Qualities:

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Competence in using work management software and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of financial management and meeting budget targets. Passion for delivering quality care services and developing a team.
