Join Our Team as a Residential Manager and Make a Difference! Are you passionate about transforming lives and empowering young people to achieve their full potential? We're looking for a dedicated and dynamic Residential Manager to lead a brand-new team in providing high-quality care to young individuals. This is a unique opportunity to shape a supportive environment where young people can thrive and transition confidently into adulthood. Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development:

Hire, train, and manage a dedicated team, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional care. You'll work closely with the HR Manager, Service Manager, and Responsible Individual (RI) to build a cohesive and supportive team environment. Referral Review:

Collaborate with the Local Authority to assess and review a range of referrals, ensuring each young person is matched with the right care. Transition Support:

Facilitate the smooth transition of young people into the home, creating and implementing personalized care plans that focus on their unique needs and aspirations. Compliance & Audits:

Conduct monthly audits and maintain meticulous records to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. This includes managing home finances and maintaining up-to-date and accurate paperwork. Team Communication:

Foster open communication within your team by holding regular meetings, providing supervision, and ensuring all team members are informed and supported. Staffing & Rotas:

Manage the home's rota system to ensure the home is well-staffed at all times, with schedules issued in advance. Regulatory Standards:

Ensure all regulatory paperwork is completed to a high standard, with all reports properly recorded and reported to the relevant parties. Professional Liaison:

Attend all professional meetings, maintain high standards of communication with external stakeholders, and ensure that all reports are completed and submitted timely. Health & Safety:

In collaboration with the Service Manager, ensure that all health and safety requirements are met, and that the home is a safe environment for both staff and young people. Safeguarding:

Ensure that safeguarding concerns are promptly reported and recorded, maintaining the safety and well-being of both the young person and staff at all times. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Residential Child Care or equivalent. The ability to independently lead a team while also being able to follow instructions and stay on track. Highly effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to generate trust and credibility when working as part of a team and be reliable. Problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm within stressful situations. About You:
