My client is an established provider now in the completion stages of setting up an OFSTED registered Children's Home focusing on supporting EBD service users and are looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Children's Home Manager. As the Children's Home Manager, you will be carrying out a range of duties some of which have been listed below: Duties of the Children's Home Manager : Provide social work support to individuals and families in a home setting Assist with budgeting and financial management for the home Coordinate and oversee home care services for residents Maintain accurate records and documentation of all activities Ensure the safety and well-being of residents Develop and implement policies and procedures Manage staff and provide leadership and guidance Coordinate and monitor resident activities and programs Maintain accurate records and documentation Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner Liaise with the Responsible Individual and the commissioning authorities to ensure that the care needs of new and existing children/young people are met. We currently require an OFSTED Registered Manager for a 3 bedroom EBD home housing 3 children in the Midlands. This is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious Senior RSW or registered manager who is looking to climb the career ladder. Our client is a growing organisation that support over 100 service users across all of our services and have ongoing plans of opening further homes. They are expanding their division to provide services for young people, and this is a very exciting time to join them. The opportunities will be endless. They are continuing to develop, train and mentor staff team so that they can expand their services for Children and Young People. Our client understands the pressures and responsibilities Registered Managers face on a day to day basis. With this in mind, they aim to support Registered Managers to focus on what matters - quality care and achieving good, consistent outcomes for our young people. This is a Permanent role and will be paying a salary ranging from 45k to 60k per annum dependant on experience. This role would be ideal for a Senior Team Leader or Deputy Manager in a Children's Home looking to take the next step in their career. Essential experience and Qualifications of the Children's Home Manager : Essential: A minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Manager or Senior RSW. QCF/ NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care. Desirable: Desirable: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential childcare (England) or an equivalent qualification. The Children's Home Manager must hold an enhanced DBS check and drive with access to your own car. Working schedule is from Monday to Friday.
