that supports children and young people with complex needs. This is a unique opportunity to provide strong leadership in a nurturing environment, ensuring excellent outcomes for children who need therapeutic care and guidance. This is a unique opportunity to work for an Employee-Owned Trust (think John Lewis Partnership where all employees are owners of the organisation!) which means annual additional payments, a huge say in how the business is run, and an exceptional L&D programme. They invest in the work of the Capstone Care Leavers' Trust as their charitable partner. About the Role: As the Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards (2015), and OFSTED requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care that promote emotional, psychological, and social development. Developing and implementing individualised care plans in partnership with social workers, tailored to the specific needs of each child. Creating a therapeutic, safe, and supportive environment that fosters resilience and positive relationships. Managing the on-call rota, ensuring 24/7 coverage and addressing any incidents or safeguarding concerns promptly. Overseeing the home’s budget, resources, and compliance, preparing for and leading OFSTED inspections while ensuring ongoing quality improvement. About You: Our client is looking for a compassionate, motivated leader who has a deep understanding of working in a therapeutic environment for children. You will need to have: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Proven experience in managing residential children's homes, ideally in a therapeutic setting, with strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, OFSTED, and safeguarding. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team, build strong relationships with external agencies, and create a supportive, child-centred environment. A passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people, ensuring they receive the care and support needed to thrive. What’s on Offer: The chance to lead a team in a therapeutically underpinned home dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people. The ability to manage the team with autonomy and accountability. A supportive and dedicated work environment, focused on professional development and the growth of your leadership skills. Working for an Employee Owned Trust. Highly competitive salary and future career progression opportunities. How to Apply: If you’re ready to take on this rewarding challenge and have the skills and experience to excel as a Registered Manager, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact Laura Mullane for a friendly and informal chat. Take the next step in your career by making a difference in the lives of children who need it the most!
